In my opinion there's nothing like a hearty meat pie at the end of a big day of climbing, or in fact for breakfast before climbing or for lunch during climbing. I'd be interested to know where people thought was the best pie/pie-shop within reasonably close proximity to a climbing area? My noination would be the Beef, Cheese and Bacon Pie from the Bakehouse on Wentworth in Blackheath, a bit pricey at $5.50 but oh so tasty. The dee-dish pies at the Gardners Inn are pretty good as well (has anybody ever eaten a large one by themselves?)
