Easter time (early April) at Arapiles is the most popular time of year because it's not so blazing hot as summer, but not yet the windy, damp winter. May, well, that's another month closer to winter, but given the drought we've been having over here chances are it will still be dry. The thing about Araps/Gramps is that even if it does rain you can still find dry climbs under big overhangs and the like. Take up sport climbing for the day. And with 4 weeks down there. We'll just rest on the really wet days, or go hiking instead. You'll likely get very few days when climbing isn't possible. |
