I'd definitely go. With a forecast of "a shower or two" you'd usually be able to climb wherever you like for at least 90% of the time (excluding seepage lines and friction slabs!). Plus there are some easier routes (eg mantis, oceanoid pitch 1) which withstand a bit of rain.
Sure the bureau sometimes gets it drastically wrong and every now and then you'll lose whole days to rain ... but if you don't go when the forecast is for a "shower or two" then you'll barely climb for the next 4 months. |
