the important thing though is how you pronounce german climbing words: i.e. make sure, everything you say is in imperative ('mach schnell!' - hurry up) and is said with a harsh, commanding voice. if you are a male with a female partner, your aim should be to shower her with as much beta (jetzt links, nein rechts, der fuss!! sei nicht so dumm (dont be so stupid), jetzt die linke hand, nein!!....) so that by the end of the climb she's close to tears and will happily be your belay slave for the rest of the day.
