In addition, the Emirates website now says, in relation to the land swap they've negotiated, that they will initially receive 39 acres of national park land for c.110acres land donated, but with the option of expanding this later through further negotiation. Has anyone heard exactly what road upgrades have been finalised? I just know that it was up for discussion after planning approval was granted, but before construction was due to begin. Maybe we'll get a beautiful 6 lane road down wolgan gap :-( Maybe the glow worm tunnel could be turned into an access road, or back into a high speed rail link (getting fanciful now...) owain.
