To be honest, those comments were more directed at another reply, but youre right, my initial post was always going to cop some flack... I presume thats what you refer to as trolling? Well, fair enough too... gotta be careful bagging out classics (which I wasnt by the way, just commenting on the grade)... but I also think that its a bit risky to put any climb on too much of a pedestal... (hence, I presume, the reason this thread was started... the possibility of Mising link being over rated... ). Climbs, climbing trends and climbing styles change. Perceptions of grades also. Put your "modern" climber on Kachoong and Fuhrer Eliminate 21 and see which one they squirm on most... you could probably substitute the rack or any number of (lower graded than Kachoong) cracks for Fuhrer and have a similar result. Should cracks all be upgraded... certainly hope not, Kachoong downgraded? That would just be cruel... but there have been many changes to grades over the years... even the mighty Blimp got the bump eventually.

For what its worth Ill go out on a limb and say that I rate ML as one of my favourites.
And bro, if there aint bitterness out there, then thats all good by me.
