Definitely worth a trip if you're after easy to moderate multi-pitch. Xanthene (17?) on the North Jawbone is great, and definitely one of the best mid grade climbs around Melbourne. It goes through the two overlaps left of Speigal's Overhang. You have to climb something else very easy to get to it (Route 1 or 2?) and then something else to finish (Xanthene direct or Greg's Direct). The other big plus is that the area is really nice.

The VCC guide is huge and covers everything East of the Hume except Buffalo (Cathedral Ranges, Ben Cairn, Wilson's Prom, Warragul Rocks and plenty of much smaller areas). It also covers Mt Teneriffe which by all accounts is a confusing area without a guidebook. It's worth getting if you are a day-tripping Melbourne local.
