hi all, I'm working (location audio engineer) on a Short feature film for which we're hoping to film at a location in the Dandenongs. Our initial contact with rangers wasn't too positive. With the aim to negotiating a permit, I thought surely someone on here might be able to suggest a senior person i might be able to talk to. We're looking at a 3 day shoot, first weekend in March, we were quoted $600 for a permit by Parks. Any suggestions would be great. Regards, Chris. (p.s. for those interested, the general story line is 5 Aussie soldiers in Vietnam, walking through the bush, one steps on landmine and it follows the story of them trying to get him out alive.)
