When I wanted to check I could prussic in worst case situation I headed down to the local school - they had playground equipment above tambark that you could get a few (4-5) meters of rope hanging down from. Enough to get used to the ideas, learn how to prussic.
The playground equipment was also set up in such a way that I could hand off a rung with one hand and one foot and practice getting a prussic off my harness (I keep some on a krab when I climb outdoors) and get it onto the rope and set up one handed.
So if you are worried about safe landings, maybe check out nearby schools. |
