I remember that issue. There were some ace results that came out it. Excellent idea Josh.
As I remember it, the photographers all surrendered their film, and were then given the trannies back, so they were all on even footing with regards to development lag time.
It should help keeps things progressive, raw and honest.

I'd also agree to keeping it all film for a few really good reasons. There's an argument for being able to submit a digital (thus manipulated) folio. I'd probably like to see it completely analogue.

And internally commented would be ace. That way everyone can read what all the participants think of each other's work, what/why they do and don't like it. It should be very insightful. (onsightful??)

We should see if Crux or anyone else is able to sponsor a few rolls of film and a couple of bags of coffee. I have a few rolls of various expired C-41 I'll gladly donate.

I think the photo-frame is being remodeled. A bit like Superman going into a phone-booth...
