Climbing rack in Carry on Luggage |

These are a few things I have done in the last few years when heading OS with lots of luggage.
1) Any books/guidebooks take on board carrrying them.
2) If you have a big camera bag take it on board and stuff it full of stuff.
3) Wear any gortex parker/windstopper even down jackets and fill the pockets.
4) Buy some duty free goods and then stuff that bag full of extra gear.
5) Take a garbage bag or stuff sack and when you get on the plane you can dump everything in this.
Or you could go to Canada like I am about to do without a rack and buy a new one there. |
