A friend of mine holds the team record (any takers?) for amount of time spent attempting the 3 pitch Lamplighter (14), back wall of the Pharos, Arapiles. In total, including getting back down (though missing 2x ropes) - he spent approximately 10 hours on it. That must qualify as a big wall'! And it wasn't even car to car!

There's a couple of fun games you can play at Arapiles that equate to 'a big wall' - albeit an easy one. Depends on what grade you want to deal with. See how many Watchtower Face routes you can do in a day for instance, or better still, start at the Northern Group and work back to Bard Buttress. Doing 3 routes in the Harlequin Cracks area, then 3 on the Watchtower, 3 on the Pinnacle Face, 3 on the Pharos and 3 on Tiger Wall is a pretty big day out (something like 1200m+ of climbing).
