Nothing to do with climbing. well maybe something
Went to my local beach (middle of nowhere) late yeste arvo. Tied my tevas together with a bit of string i had in my pocket and left them on the beach. Mucked around in the water for about 40 minutes, no more than 50 meters from my sandals and seen 3 people walk past, went back to my sandals, -GONE- some low life scumbag, S%$T eating schmuck (look up the meaning of that word) had stolen my stuff no more than 50 meters from me, and left the string behind. Fair enough you may say, maybe someone needed a pair of sandals, but who are they gunna fit?, there size 13!!

Moral of the story. Dont leave nothing unlocked etc, unless youre right there, like 2 foot away because thieves are a very brazen bunch willing to take some big risks for some small rewards.
