I like this sluth work.... But Richard, I don't think HardRock are legally allowed to give personal details
out. So therefore I imagine that the only thing HardRock could do was pass on the details of the
'thieves' to ngibbs.

Therefore, these 'thieves' were probably the ones who initiated the hunt for the owners of this gear
tracking down HardRock as the first point of call.... and so the mystery unravels.

just a climber tired and forgetful after climbing. No thieves, just good samaritans.
