Witnesses. Damn. And I thought I'd executed the perfect crime.
>I clearly remember you having an argument with him about how hard thhe finish moves were - Malcolm was saying 'only grade 18!' - you were bitching that it was way harder. Funny stuff!
Things are always easier once you've done them! Not sure I'd call it an argument more a lively discussion. I recall those hard moves were at the end of the traverse going up??? But it's obviously a lot fresher in your mind than in mine (2001). I was thinking about that route all arvo when I should have been concentrating on other things - my hands started sweating inside my gloves and I thought I'd put a hole in one.
>Heres a pic from your ascent (1st September 2001!)
Nice bumshot!

Nasty nasty.

Agreed.
>The second pitch looked horrid though -worst rock i have ever seen in the Grampians - super sandy.
It's crazy - you're pulling on these cemented dinner plates the whole way waiting for one to rip! Really exciting and a bit like Gogarth. There's actually a choice of two finishing pitches - the left on is best. |
