I agree with pretty much everything your saying cruze. The example I was thinking of when I floated first aid kits was more one with someone lying at the base of a climb bleeding out. The 30 minutes it would take medical help to get there could be too late. At the end of the day though, who would want half a dozen first aid kits littering the lanscape. Better to have more people with first aid training and a small first aid kit of their own in their pack. Oh and a backpack sized helicopter sounds ideal. Im sick of walking into crags.
