I can verify that. I eye balled a python at a range of about 10cm after pulling through an overhang half way up at Moonarie. Climb was Garden Refuse Removed...... or somehting like that. It turned out the beautiful cam placement which I saw first was right next to the snake which I saw second. The story was dramatic as hell when the snake was a death adder, but diminished some what when a ranger told us what we were describing was a python.
I downclimbed in a hurray and did a variant to the standard route. Scared the Sh1t out of me. |
