Hi Bill, would like to see your pics! I can't imagine going to Bangkok and not staying in Khao San Road, it's a rat hole, but colourful! :o) We're in Thailand et al in December/January, riding up from KL, stops at Ton Sai and Phi Phi, climbing, diving, kayaking then ride through a couple of National Parks on the way to Ayutthaya (ancient capital just north of bangkok) up to Chiang Mai more climbing, 3 days at the Thai Elephant Conservation Centre, check out some of the sights/sites around the Golden Triangle, river rafting, local villages etc. throw the bike onto a boat and down the Mekong to Laos and onwards!
