Best knot to use for my Cordelette? |

I use an 8metre cordelette.
I don't normally loop it together so it's one big sling. I tie a figure-8 on the bite into each end and leave
them there permanently. Clip each of those in to the two outside anchor points, loop the cord through the
middle 1 or 2 pieces, then equalise either by tieing a knot to form a power point, or using the twist method
inbetween each anchor point. See the
Equalise section in Tech tips to show the twist method. (twist method aka sliding-x)
I think this gives you a bit more versatility then having one big f'ing loop of cord. |
