I have known Rick for many years and seen what he has accomplished, he is a passionate man; $10 sound pretty bloody cheap! The best show I've ever seen was Kurt Diemberger at The Mill a couple of years ago and that was a sell out for $50 for two nights. I don't think there was dry eye anywhere in the audience. It is a pity no one is bringing out good guest speakers at the moment, or for that matter encouraging locals to do more shows. from the reports that I have heard Neil definately should have put a cover charge on.
