Yes, hang on to that one Brat. The eastern suburbs is a great place to be. Although I live in the north I go over there every week day to drive my daughter to school. (long story). Coogee is lovely and yes, lots of distractions with beach and cafe/restaurant scene. Lovely people and community. You'll really enjoy it.
