its true. when i look at places like the star factory at freycinet i can see a heap of insanely hard lines. they're on perfect granite in the most spectacular location. if you cant get inspired by these lines you should sell your rope and take up knitting! unfotunately i think the word will get out about this place before i get a chance to get the first ascent! i know for myself that if i start saying ''it isn't about the grade, just have fun" its usually an excuse. i dont think anything rivals the feeling of a new grade or achieving a hard climb. i love the feeling of trying something hard and watch it get easier as i grow stronger.
