I have always been and always be a trad climber, first and foremost. However, that said I am slowly awakening to the possibilities of Sport Climbing as a means of crosstraining for Trad. As a result, I could not help but notice how little sport climbing there is in this country compared to the US and Europe. What there is could be called "Adventure Bolting" and starts at grades not readily accessible to the massess. Therein lies the problem. Of course, I'd also like to make the observation that the grades here might be a tad out of touch with the rest of the world...ie sandbag. There, I've done it! I can't believe I have professed the virtues of more/better bolted lines.
