Try Alert Safety. They have a shop pretty close to Cliffhanger. Tell them what you do and they should recommend the best gloves.

The durability vs sensitivity is an inevitable compromise. I suggest you just accept that you'll wear out a lot of gloves. Better than wearing out a lot of skin.
Another possibility is to cut off the fingers. That probably defeats the purpose for the landscaping, but might work for Robin's case.
Keep your skin for climbing with.
