However being smart and using common sense most people go out and buy a device they know how to
use. To state the obvious they don't go outdoors and find ropes hanging from the cliffs with grigri's pre-
installed. Hence hopefully they won't be using something they don't know!
Edit: and if we teach them the basics like a munter hitch then doesn't matter if they don't have any belay
device. |
