Climbing in winter is the bizzo round these parts. The best climbing in the ACT is on the central slabs at booroomba, which stay in the sun all day every day (since it never rains here).

A sandba... I mean welcoming party can be arranged for any out of state visitors to showcase our unde... well protected, slab... over hanging sport routes. Of course the rock is not sharp at all and if the book didn't say it was granite, you would swear you were at Eureka wall in the grampians, except with ringbolts every 2 feet and no walk in and unpaid volunteers to put the draws on/off your route of choice at your request. Plus the grades are SOFT. I'm talking blue mountains/thailand style soft.

In short, Booroomba = Paradise.

So come to canberra, while this limited offer lasts. (Offer may not be real).

Actually, it is a really good crag, especially in winter. Back in the 80's it was the shit, then people stopped climbing slabs (not that it's all slabs). Remember fellas, chicks dig slabs.
