I guess this kinda of ties in with the desktop post due to some of the comments on that, but what does
constitute digital manipulation. Having moved to digital and knowing photoshop back to front, things like
removing or adding stuff obviously is manipulation, but emulating film types (eg. i have a great fondness
for x-processing, but as my digital camera doesnt take slide film....) such as the afore mentioned or colour
correction....is that in the same catagory? the way i see it, is that photoshop is a darkroom for digital
cameras, and within reason some manipulation is acceptable in regards to neither adding or removing
anything from the photograph. but then i guess the statement was 'undeclared digital manipulation'.
How do the professionals feel?

In regards to the ethics of the photo in question, id have to agree with Hatman. Not every photo has to be
published, and the side effects of such a published photo could be of detriment to the battle to get the site
open again. I guess erring on the side of caution is at least something to think hard about. i dunno.
