Guys, this is really disturbing. A chisel has no business being in the rucksack. The cliffs will be really messed up if we go around chipping nut slots. Imagine the scars made by novice Michaelangelos. Bolts have become accepted in a carefully limited and controlled way over the years and have benefited climbing for the most part. It is a rocky road with many ethical debates along the way. This concensus acceptance could never happen with wire placements chipped out of blank rock .............tell me it's a wind-up someone please.
Please respect the natural environment and leave the chisel at home. |
