Don't wear shoes!
Although It can be a little invigorating when there's snow on the ground on the walk in.
Getting used to not wearing shoes helps heaps, especialy on those creek crossings.
When bare footing in snow in sierra nevada (that's california, not spain) I just imagined that my prints would only get bigger in the snow with the melt and national geographic would be out there taking casts of bigfoot.
Bare footing is a handy skill to have, helps if you did it for most of your childhood. |
