November is good for Mt Buffalo, but you are best to arrange climbing partners before heading there. The Blue Mountains is also really good at that time of year. Plenty of crags and better still the Wolgan Valley is in the Bluey's. Again best to organise partners before heading to the Wolgan.
The Carrington Hotel in Katoomba and any of the cafe's in Blackheath will be good places to meet climbers in the Blue Mountains (or visit cragx.org/).
I would imagine any Melbourne climbing gyms and of course Arapiles itself will see you hooking up with other climbers.
