both of these will be updated regularly; the photos because i only get 20mb a month and the site will end up having an article a week or so
First real article is on Ozy; just a bunch of beta which is hard to get without trawling through old rock mags. It's finished now, please give me any comments. I have made what i think is a pretty darn good topo too!

Some more stuff up plus some photos of NZ winter tirp on Flickr, also trying to get some stories onto the blog. Comments welcome... (particularly anything anyone thinks would be good to put up to promote aid/alpine/adventure climbing in OZ)

Hi nick,
the trip was good. I got a job glacier guiding but it sucked big time, so I left. i think I will be at ANU next year but I want to sneak in another trip before that. Would you be keen for NZ or south america? my regular partner is distracted by girls. Yes winter climbing rules, but winter aid climbing rules big time! didn't you enjoy ozy when you did it??
No my mate got vipers because he gets BD gear thrrough his work. i am climbing with petzl aztars. I thought the aztars were much more suitable for general alpine ( i like em cos there lighter too) though that siad the vipers are great for drytooling when run leashless.
we didn't get up anything hard or big. It was my mates first trip so getting used to the cold, and learning a lot about avalanches. We climbed a bunch of nz gr 1 and 2 pks in the mueller area and also the fox neve. the mountains still scare the shit out of me, some of you might know the feeling.....

Good to hear.
That mountain fear is healthy I reckon. Apparently if you can stay alive through your first three NZ seasons then your survival odds improve dramatically.
