If you're swinging leads wouldn't your partners end be at the *top*? Having the leader's end on the bottom usually only happens if the one person is leading several pitches in a row. In that case there's a few things you could do:
- Both untie and retie at opposite ends (obviously only an option if you don't use the rope in your anchor).
- If you've looped the rope over a sling or your foot, "rotate" the coils 180 degrees to bring your partners end to the top. Can end up in a tangle doing this if you're not careful though.
- Reflake the rope. Probably the most reliable way.
