What have been people's experiences as a belayer watching your leader do hairy things? Have there been times when you've done your best yet your leader still manages to injure themselves and then blames it on you?
Is there ever a time when as a belayer you've chosen to second guess your leader because you feel it's in their best interest? Or do you just do as they ask... ie take in when the fall into the wall could be worse than giving slack? |
