My father got me into bushwalking and by the time i was 18 i had done all the walks he had told me about when i was a little tacker and started doing ones he never had the chance to. We are know for our "we'll be back by dark", but we usually end up following our nose driving around the bush checking things out and exploring. Only to return home well after dark to a cold dinner and his growling wife...
He often acts as a support team when i go on my walks so i don't have to do loops. I've recently showed him how to abseil and he loves it, he even wants some of my old gear.
Hopefully he'll lose a few KG's and i can drag him up something in the next year or two. |
