Myself, Steve, JJ and Bundy all have kids and strangely enough are all climbing stronger than ever. I may not be 30 yet (only one more year to go) so don't fully qualify but definetely feel that I if I keep working as hard as I am now I will keep improving for a long time yet. It is often just a case of managing your time. If you want to climb hard or keep improving you may have to give up some things in order to spare the time to climb and/or train. You don't need all that long either, you just have to be efficient. Maintaining a healthy balanced diet and getting enough sleep are also crucial if you still want to be cranking hard whilst having a job, family, mortgage etc. All of that of course in combination with protein shakes and plenty of good strong coffee.
