yeah, who wants to troll through old stuff. It's like yesterday's news and very time consuming. I don't do it.

Agreed and with everything you said. Can be intimidating for newbies and a lurking thread that watches and comments often abusively on what others say is a real bummer on a forum and the perfect way to turn off newbies or those who may be a bit shy. Negativity is positively not positive.
