Bouldering only for blocks of time is a great way to push your grades.
From mid 99 to easter '04, I just bouldered. Got back on rope (so unfit it was a joke) and within a 12
month period went from getting pumped on 21's to onsighting 25's, rp 27/28. Climbing in the mountains
loads last summer made a huge difference. From July - Dec this year back bouldering full time mainly out
of convenience (renovating my place), but with the humidity increasing, next month and a half will be a
Sheffield-style training only phase in prep for the mountains again in Jan '06. Very psyched indeed.
