>>i like my power to weight ratio and have no real need/want for getting considerably stronger!!

All I can say Sabu is give it time, as it's unlikely to remain the same all your life. Despite diets and physical exercise, genetics does pay a part.

My diet really hasn't changed much since I was your age. I've never really worried about what I eat but have alway eaten healthy yet large portions, as I've always been physically active. At age 17 I was 187cm tall and weighed 70kg. Now at 41 years old, I weigh about 100kg. In about 2nd year uni my shoulders widened by about 12cm and weight went on accordly. A few years ago I did my ACL (main knee ligament) and dumped on another 10kg in a few weeks which I haven't been able to shed. I used to run 60+ km per week, sail twice a week. Now I climb indoors 2-3 times a week, sail twice a week, do a 50km bike ride and just don't have time for to much else than work (60-70hrs/wk) other than the occasional outdoor climb, bushwalk or ski.

As for the charts. I assume you're talking about the BMI, it's worthless when looking at an individual, many / most elite athletes would be classed as overweight and possibly obesed, despite having a low fat %. Muscle weighs more than fat. It's designed for use for looking at population studies where you're comparing large groups. If you want an accurate test for an individual you need a skin fold test to determine your fat percentage.
