WP isw a beautiful place, sure, but nowhere near being a World Heritage Site. It has been too messed up by people for that. People love the place and have strong emotional attachments to it. But if you look into it, almost no part of it has not been toitally changed by the actions of humans. Hard to see the small number of climbers mucking it up too much. Just ask the seals. I read that one boat left Sealers Cove with 800 000 skins...just one boat! Now there are not that many seals left all along the s coast of Oz.
