Has anyone been down there recently and can tell me if climbing is allowed? I have heard every combination of rumour from 'banned' to 'we have no idea'. Internet is also unclear and the park rangers seem clueless too, giving random, incoherrent or even contradictory answers.
It has always struck me that this brilliant place is very underdeveloped as far as climbing goes (and walking too for that matter!). How come some areas are banned? The walk along the high ridges over Mt Ramzey would be one of the best in the state.
Anyway, any info would be appreciated. |
