Hanging Rock was a popular climbing spot on the 1960s, but the Hanging Rock Management Committee steadfastly refuses to allow climbing there now. This has been despite mant deputations by VCC Access Officers over the years, including requests this year. I suggest you take this off your wish list. However, if you are a local you may run into a Management Committee member and start labbying, but take it easy.
