At the end of the day people will vote with their feet, so I guess you can call that footwork. I think the gym will work if it can create the atmoshere and interest that the Flemmington bouldering area did in the later years. I also think to be successful a bouldering gym needs to regularly change the problems and keep the problems well defined ie. clean holds, no ambiguous colours and replace start and finishing tags when they go missing.

I found the monthly bouldering comps at the Mill great in creating interest in bouldering and also giving the punters new problems regularly.

As for myself I wont be great for business. I do prefer to boulder/climb outside locally on bluestone, Camels Hump and Turpins Falls (hot days). I do however use the gyms for training in winter or on wet weekends. Cliffhanger is a great gym but I do look forward to having another gym option
