Exellent point!

Of course the other side of the story is you often hear of people that retire early from the 'rat-race', and quickly find that they have far to much time on their hands and are increadibly bored. These people end up dying young, or going back to work.

A certain proportion of people actually enjoy work, and get a lot out of what they are doing.

The main thing is to work out which camp you fall into, and try to structure your lifestyle accordingly.
