Joe,

Kerianl is simply trying to keep the "focus" of the website true to its purpose in that its a *climbing* website and thus, he believes, that coversation should be kept to that very subject matter. Indeed he may have been pointing the poster to a more relevent website in the beleif that its really not CHOCKSTONES cup of tea, so to speak.

Kerianl may come across as being harsh, but dont let the "apparent" tone of his post put you off, i have read that he is a nice guy who apparently has a lot to offer to the climbing community in general.

I feel that is quite approporate to ask any question of this forum regardles of topic, and you will find that most people will, where they can, offer help as appropriate.

Mike has done a sterling job with this site and most of us are willing to offer constructive comments to any questions.

As individuals, if we dont think that the question is worthy of our response then we simply wont respond and the poster useually gets the idea.

To get back to the topic, i dont think that Rosea would be a good place to BASE, due to landing restrictions (tree zone) you would be far better jumping of same man-made structures, if thats what turns your crank.
