I've just back to the office after driving through the aftermath. 4 bombs, 3 underground and 1 bus. At street level there is no real sign of what's happened though I'm told there were bodies on the street, and the bus was a suicide bomber so i hate to think what the scene there is like. All public transport is suspended. Our guys ( ropeworkers ) currently have no way to get home. The emergency folk are doing an amazing job, you can only admire them. It's all a bit too close for my comfort. Anyone out there feel like marrying an englishman that wants out of here? Jon ( Alert and alarmed ) |
