Can't help but put my 2 cent's worth in here.
I'm a computer programmer and systems administrator and am into "IT" in a big way...but climbing podcasts sound like technology for technology's sake and probably doomed to pass away quietly. Sort of a cyber Leyland P76.
For myself, I find Chockstone is a great way for long retired climbers like myself to maintain a feel for what goes on in climbing today, but only because of the visual content to compliment the text ravings. If Chockstone were word only....I wouldn't bother. And I certainly won't bother tuning into these podcasts again! |
