the Vito is a great vehicle and loads of space to deck the back out for luxury car camping. However, it doesn't have as good clearance as other vans. I've got the Toyota TownAce - one of the smallest vans out but stills sleeps 2 in comfort, very fuel efficient, with loads of room for climbing/ camping gear and a crash mat, plus with it's high clearance, it eats up most dodgy dirt roads. The true test will be driving up to Millenium Caves later this year. Also consider the Mitsubishi van's or new VW vans. Once you get a van, you never go back....
