Someone is pulling your chain. There is no effective way to make 0 copy software. Search the net, you can undoubtedly find a copy without the $45 price tag, however if you want to buy it legally there is nothing stoping you from copying it as many times as you like. There are some methods of restricting viewing as used by the national geographic series, which smartly ties .pdf images with text and uses a unique program to tie the two together in it's orgional form. However, with a standard e-book image you should be fine.
