i didnt say that punk is bad, in fact i like Punk,

Green Day, Blink 182, Good Chaloote, Offspring, The Killers, Metallica, Seether, Linkin Park and Jay Z, Limb Bizkit, Jet, Gorillaz, U2, Jon Butler Trio, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Pete Murray, Robbie Williams, Coldplay, The Black Eyed Peas, Evenascence, Smashing Pumpkins, Jon Bon Jovi, Eskimo Joe, P.O.D, Maroon 5, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Simple Plan, The Living End, The Ataris, the Lord of the Rings soundtracks, The Cat Empire, Jamiroquai, R.E.M., etc etc...
