If you haven't been down to Summerday Valley in the Grampians for a while, you might not know that they have closed the on-site camping and rearranged the roads and walking tracks a little.

What we now have is the "Hollow Mountain Carpark", from which access to Summerday Valley can be obtained via a short walk very similar to the old one. However, to camp, you'll have to drive down to Mt Stapylton Camping Ground a few kms away. I also believe they may have closed camping at nearby Troopers Creek, so it's Stapylton or nothing. On the plus side, the new camp ground boasts running water, new clean toliets and heaps of tent sites. The only thing it lacks is shade and proximity to the valley.
